Deadly Drums

There were two boys and they were walking home from school on a cloudy day. They decided to take a short cut through the woods because they wanted to get home befor the rain stared. As they walked along the path one of the boys found a drum. He picked it up and examiend it." Lookie what I found!" he said to his friend who was standing off in the distance. The boy holding the drum thought it looked like one from those Indian movies he'd seen. He couldn't resist playing it so he began to drum. He was about to stop but he couldn't. The drum kept on going as iff it had a mind of its own and as in a chant. The boy began to call for help and was screaming terrified. Only a few seconds later There was a loud dound of poundind horse hoves on the forests floor. The Buy grew in more panic as he saw that a band of Indians were heading strait toward him, there arrows up and looking read to shot him down. His friend we scared as well and was trying to help him. They began to run. The boy with the drum kept on druming for he could not stop. The boy without the drum heard a lod scream and looked over at his friend. He was face down to the ground and there was an arrow sticking out of his back. As he looked back to see the Indians He only saw the tails of the horses and the Indians backs. Only a few seconds later they dissapeard. When the police came to the place where his friend had been murderd, He was shocked to see that his riend ( the boy who wasn't playing the drum) to lying on the ground with no mark or sighn that an arrow had shot him. He told them about the drum and how his friend could not stop pounding it as though the drum had a mind of its own. The police said that he didnt believe the boy and said that some wild men had killed him. But then about a week later the maiors son was walking through those same part of the woods with a police officer that he new well ( the maiors son was in his middle 20). The same thing that happend to the little boy was the same thing that happend to the police officer. The maiors son said that he saw the Indians on Horseback righing away and dissapearing into thin air. And then later said he saw a dead little boy running with a drum that he could not stop pounding. And then feel to the ground.
