Emily backed away from the window in horror. The curtains stuck open, still revealing the horrific, grinning face staring back at her. She shoved the curtains closed and called the police. She cried, hoping they would come fast. Too late. The mysterious man broke through the window and grabbed her arm. He got hold of her and stuck a knife beside her neck. "Scream at all, and I'll kill you!" he muttered. "You be a good little girl and come with me..." he said, forcing her to move. He jumped back out the window, and Emily sliced her arm on accident. She cried out in pain, and he shoved the knife back at her neck, pressing it harder against her skin. "I'll give you something to cry about if you don't follow my orders!" He said. She silently cried. The man shoved her into a truck and he climbed into the driver's seat. He turned on the vehicle and sped away, forcing gravel and dirt to fly in all directions. He drove for what seemed like hours, and finally pulled into the side of the road. He checked to see that no cars were in sight. He climbed out of the truck and ran over to the passenger side. He grabbed Emily's arm and pulled her out. He took out his knife and pulled Emily further away from the road, starting into the woods. He stopped, and started beating her. He punched and slapped and kicked. She cried and yelled, but she knew no one was hearing her. He grabbed his knife and slashed her arms, sometimes getting at her wrists. He was done, and left, taking off in the truck. Emily laid on the ground. She felt dizzy, so dizzy... she felt faint. She put her arms up and tried to see them. They were bloody and covered in new bruises and cuts. She felt a deep gash in her forehead. Her legs felt weaker than ever... and that's all she remembered before she passed out.
