For several years the New York firefighters would come out with a beefcake calender. (and no I was never in it contrary to rumors). This year their is a question as to whether they should put it out. Oh yes you might think put it out and lets get back to normalcy. Its not quiet that easy. Three of the guys that were supposed to be in it are now dead. Thomas Foley, Robert Cordice and Angel Juarbe all died at the WTC.
Earlier the department had canceled the calender because the thought of it as frivolous considering what had happened, but now there are some, including some of the relatives of the dead models are urging them to go ahead and print them out. should the print it out? Should they show the dead firefighters separtely?
Foley and Cordice were members of an elite firefighting team and were among the first on the scene. Foleys body was recovered from Tower Two and Cordices body had yet to be found. Juarbe, was las heard responding to a mayday call from a fellow firefighter, Two months later his body was recovered near the Trade Center hotel.........
They sounded like brave men to me. I think they should go ahead and print the calender with a special section for them...............I'll even let my wife buy one.
