Date: 12/19/2001 7:06:00 PM  From Authorid: 42515    On Christmas Day we dont really eat anything special. We go to my Aunts house and eat...but nothing special. Christmas Eve is when we have good food. I am Polish so we eat the traditional pierogies (that we make ourselves), krupi (buckwheat), yagwi(millet), and kapusta(saurkraut fried w/ butter and onions)...and before dinner we share oplatki which is like a thin wafer. We give each other 3 wishes, such as health, wealth, and happiness for the coming year. Love,

For dessert, cherry cheesecake, coconut cream dessert, cranapple crisp, fudge, cookies, candy, among other things. Do I dread it, yes and no...lol.
Date: 12/20/2001 5:55:00 AM  From Authorid: 27414    Well, I did a turkey on Thanksgiving so we're going with a ham. I'll be baking it with a mustard/corn syrup glaze. Probably also some teriyaki beef appetizers. Not traditional but my kids LOVE it sooo...pianoman
Date: 12/20/2001 6:27:00 AM  From Authorid: 16865    Well, lets see, I am responsible for turkey, dressing, gravy, candied yams, mac n cheese (homemade), rolls, green bean casserole, and eggnog (homemade). They are bringing fruit salad and a ham... this is looking very lopsided
