I understand, you should never ever pick on a person because of their race, religion, or what they look like. I am sorry to hear that you were mistreated. I'm Biracial too and many people can't tell. It breaks my heart when I hear such horrible comments about any race. There are some very bad people in the world and they come in all colors. The good people also come in all colors. Actual color or race has nothing to do with how good or bad a person is. How would that hateful girl feel if I decided to hate black people and say they are all bad (including my own family) just because a bad black man once robbed my mother? That INDIVIUAL was bad and he has nothing to with how other people act. Just like that white man who hit the girl was too stupid (or just so shaken up he was not thinking straight)to really be sure she was alright is also just one individual. The only thing that I am against in civil rights is the Hate Crime Bill, I have a post on why I am agianst it. Either don't have the hate crime bill, or make every crime a hate crime.

Hmm. I think that the best way to put this is the last line of American History X, it's about white supremecists reforming. The movie may be terribly graphic and have alot of racial slurs, but it does have a great message. It goes something like this "Life is too short to hate." That girl might have been just talking out of anger. She probably feels foolish now, but you never know. I have had racism/prejudice in my own family. It's more on my dad's side of the family. I'm white, I grew up in a predominately black neighborhood, most of my friends are black, my kids are half black, my brothers, sisters, and mother all date outside of our race, and my dad's side of the family really has a problem with it. My dad more or less accepts everything I do. He loves me, his grandkids, and his son in law. It's such a same that in the year 2001, we still have this issue. 'Razzles'  |

Well first off,that doesn't sound like racism unless I'm missing something here. Whos fault was it when the guy hit the girl? Are you sure it wasn't her fault. In that case I wouldn't see why he would owe her anything. And if it was his fault, what if he didn't have any money and thats all he had enough for. As for the black girl saying that, why did she say that? Was it the same girl that got hit? Or did she just say it? I think you should of told her how you felt. How would see feel if you said something about her race?  |

White People really have it harder then black people now days. Why is it Blacks wanna keep bring up the past of slaves as though whites had something to do with it. I am white and Japanese. None of the blacks now days were slaves I have never owned slaves no one in my family that i know has owned any. Maybe some did when slavery was going on but not now so y bring it up? and as Drk said Jesse Jackson is one of the most rasist people of all. I heard him say in any interview that he used to work at a resturant and he would spit in white peoples salad adn watch them eat it and laugh he said it made him feel good that is all have a nice day - BlueHEL |
