Were you aware of the separation of your astral body from your physical? If so, then you were astral. If not, you were having a lucid dream. They both take place in the astral plane. 33256, Lucid dreams DO NOT TAKE PLACE ON THE ASTRAL PLAN OR ANY OTHER PLAN. Unless you consider your mind a plan, a lucid dream is where you subconscious is aware that your dreaming. Your just dreaming and you sub-consciousness knows it, nothing more - theres no speperation of the energy body.  |

You answered your own question. "I went to bed last night, and had a strange dream" - obe and a dream (whether it be strang or not) are two very different things and exsperiences. If anything I would agree with Nidhoggr about it being a lucid dream - if anything. |

Sure, i went to sleep one night thinking about Astral Prgection, my mind wandered and just when i was about to be asleep i felt a great tingly sensation all over then a question popped up in my mind---"Do you want out of your body", i said yes, i got up(i was sleeping on my stomach) and i saw my body there, it was at night so i decide that i was too scared to do it then and i got right back in, it was awesome(now im trying to do it again)  |

Last night I obe'd for the first time. I did not look back at my body I didnt think I would like it. I kept tryin to turn on the light switch took me like five times to figure out what was going on. I had great control of it at my house and good vision, I dropped out for a lil while and woke up in my moms house. I did not have as good vision or control there. As I started for the stairs I decided I might scare her to death and pulled my self out - and I do mean pull. Its not like waking from a dream. It took all I had it seeemed to yank out of it- much deeper than any dream. I recall earlier, 3-4 years, in my life being on this deep of a level and hearing voices clear as day and not being able to wake myself - very creepy good luck. It actually spooked me I dont think ill try to do it. |
