Date: 12/10/2001 12:15:00 PM  From Authorid: 39258    wow, who would have thought that this would have continued from last night into today. i hope people read this and realize the difference between attacking and opinions. In the so called "attacks" there was no name calling, but in the OPINIONS, there were judgments and expressions.
Date: 12/10/2001 12:41:00 PM  From Authorid: 36704    LadyLuck cleared this up for me awhile ago she posted the definitions of both, but people still can't seem to grasp the difference between an opinion and an attack...base

Date: 12/10/2001 4:12:00 PM  From Authorid: 13079    Hi Hawk *hugs* While "definitions" serve a purpose, they inevidably also leave out the "human" factor that is associated with a one on one confrontation, or exchange of ideas. One must keep in mind that because there is no person to look at, with facial expressions and body movements to clearify the replier's intent we must rely on our own experiences to decipher what we are facing. *hugs*
Date: 12/10/2001 4:34:00 PM  From Authorid: 39887    I think people interpret words in different ways, to you it may seem like an attack, to me an opinion. You would have to KNOW me to determine the difference. Personalities are different, unless you could hear the tones or see the expressions made with face and body, you may judge someone wrongly. I have a strong personality and I may come off as a smart eleck, when I am just being myself and really mean no harm. If any of you have felt ike you have been attacked by me, message me and tell me, I will apologize even though my view on the subject may remain the same, Lots of Love, BUSYBEE
Date: 1/10/2002 7:00:00 PM  From Authorid: 42228    THANX FOR DA POINTERS! I will deffinately keep these deffintions in mind when I am debating, lol. Good post! Luv-
