I clicked because I figured this post was being put here by someone that had responded to Jellie's post and although I agree with what you say above hawk, we also have to remember the ages of a lot of people in here and share a little compassion. And wether you agree or not, her post was being written form her heart and her soul just as you suggest. Huggs, |

There's some things that bug me around here tonight too, Azairyia. When people need attention they should really do it in a more positive manner rather than throwing pity parties. Just my opinion. |

Pammie Rose and LemonadeMe, There's no doubt it was from her her heart and her soul, but it was definitely a "tear streaked" post to see who cares. That's not the type of writing that I'm suggesting here. |

Hawk you know what...she could have needed some pity at that moment is all I am saying...it happens to the best of us...lol...even when we don't want to admit it..however I think sometimes we can do without leaving an opinion, no matter how strongly we may feel about that opinion, to spare someone else's feelings in the process... |

Azairyia, I see what you mean, but I'm sorry...I don't walk on egg shells around people. I give my honest opinions because that's just the way I am. I'm not trying to hurt feelings here. |

Only the internet Telsha..that is true, but we are al still real people with real feelings and should always remember that when commenting. She deserved as much respect for her post s Hawk does for this one. Huggs, |

Hawk I am seriously not trying to pick a fight with you...but there is a time to comment with honest feelings and time not to. When your honest opinion results in hurting another persons feelings then shouldn't that mean don't comment at all? Honestly was giving your opinion to Jellybean more important than hurting her feelings? You have to remember even though we are not sitting face to face with one another, there is still a living, breathing, person with feelings sitting behind this screen. |

I treat people in person the same way I treat people on the internet. No one in real life has ever gotten mad at me for being honest with them. Or for giving my opinion. I think that people think comments should be candy coated on the internet because they don't want truth here. I really think some people live/act a different way on the net than they do in real life. That's why they're surprised when they get an honest comment from me, because I'm considered "rude" by some. I am myself online...that will never change. |

Hawk so basically what you are saying is its okay for you to tell some they are fat because its your honest opinon and someone is not going to get mad at you for that? I am really trying to understand what you are meaning here, really I am, but there is a big difference between being rude and being honest, I am just not sure that you are seeing the difference or not... |

Maybe just to put it more bluntly...I once had this conversation with Ginger on the phone not to long ago. There are many times when I open a post and I read it and I sit here....(and yes hubby thinks I am nuts cause I talk to my computer screen)...and I say "OMG what an idiot" and many other statements when I see posts that could potentially challenge my opinion to be strong and hurt someone's feelings. However when I turn around and make my comment....IF I make a comment on the post at all...it comes out differently. However you call it sugar coating....I call it tact... |
