My Mom Is Candy Man! (PLEASE READ) ~MJD~

When I was in 8th grade my mom let me and my two brothers each have a friend stay over for the same weekend. Well on a Friday they all came home with us on the bus and mom made our dinner and we went and rented movies for the weekend. My friend wanted to see "Candy Man" so we rented that and a few other movies and went home. It was dark when we got home from the video store so we watched a funny movie and later on popped in "Candy Man". Since my mom is so great, she told us she was going to turn off all the lights in the house to set the scary mood. We watched the movie and of course we were scared to death, but Becky (my friend) wanted to try the Candy Man thing. My mom came out of the kitchen and said, "Brb, kids. I'm going to go fill up the furnace." (it was an outside furnace) So she went outside and we all discussed what we were going to do. We finally started walking down the long hallway to the bathroom. The only light that was on was the little night light above the sink in the bathroom and it was very dim. We walk into the bathroom, Becky was first and I was behind her and my brother and their friends were standing in the hallway (scaredy cats!). Becky walks right up to the mirror and the first thing I notice is that the shower curtain is closed. That really scares me at night so I told Becky to open it before she did the Candy Man thing. So she grabs the curtain and pulls it open fast and my mom jumps out of the shower going, "RAAAAAAH!!!!!" Everyone of us screamed and ran down the hallway. LOL Becky was so scared she wouldn't go to the bathroom by herself for the rest of the weekend.
