Want proof of creation? Look at your calendar! The moon dictates the months, the rotation of the earth around the sun dictates the year, the spinning of earth dictates the 24-hour day span, etc. Where did the 7-day week come from? |

Well, personally I am a creationist. Yes I believe the Bible, Yes I believe in God. I have seen and been a part of too many miracles not to believe in God. There are many historical sources of cultures around Irael during Biblical times to back up what the Bible says is true. In my opinion, evolution is totally bogus. I am a scientifically mined person who is skeptical about a lot of things, for a long time I doubted my faith and asked a lot of the same questions you are. I had to find out through experiences what I could and couldn't believe. And I have not had any experience that has shown the Theory of evolution to be correct, ususally it's neutral or just the opposite. I mean I do believe adaptation is true and that some species do change gradually over time, But evolution is different. An example I read that I refer to a lot is this. Two horses may produce a horse of a different color or size than they are, but they will never produce anything but horses. I realize that creationism is hard for some people to accept, that the idea of God simply being there without something else creating him may sound farfetched- but its more logical than some of the theories out there. Like the world was created from the debris of an exploding star, stars do not have life on them, they're balls of burning gas and rock, so where did the first life come from that we are supposed to have evolved from? If you want further information on evolution versus creation, there are several books by Ken Ham that I would reccommend. Between you and me though, I wouldn't post anything more on it here, people tend to get into arguements and get offended when this topic comes up. Hope some of that helped. Bye! falcongirl |

so you believe in evolution huh? so that means the universe was formed by the big bang right? well where did all the matter in the big bang come from? and where was it before that? and where was it before that? and where was it before that? logic dictates that we MUST have a creator. |

I think God created the universe through the BIG BANG. I think God is a Universal Spiritual Force...and that we humans & everything in the universe are part of what make up the wholeness of God. PS: If you dunno if you're an athiest or an agnostic...then you're probably an agnostic. |

....and I believe that once the universe came into being, that life evolved on earth, and probably on other planets. |

I think it is far more likely that some deity created a "big bang" type thing, then the story in the bible, which I believe was little more then a parable, or a fable and not meant to be literally interpreted. |

Lol, logic in no way dictates that we must have a creator. |

Yes, logic dictates that we must have a Creator. The same logic that dictates that explosions do NOT bring life, only death. |
