How can you love someone,
that doesnt treat you right?
How can you love someone,
that's the cause of all your fights?
How can you love someone,
that will do anything to make you mad?
How can you love someone,
that makes you feel so bad?
How can you devote your life,
to someone who doesnt care about you?
How can you want to be with someone so much,
that takes advantage of everything you do?
How can you push away the people who truly care,
and the ones that WILL treat you right?
Why would rather be with this one,
and loose all that sleep at night?
I tell myself over and over again,
to open my eyes and see whats truly there,
But no matter how much I try,
I cant stop feeling the way I do,
even though I'm getting hurt in the process,
I cant help but love "selfish" you.
