Date: 11/26/2001 3:59:00 PM From Authorid: 46878 Ok, here's my opinion on this whole gene research thing. I think it's ok if they're going to make organs and tissues for ppl who need them to live. But I don't think it would be ok to clone someone. I mean really if you think about it I wouldn't want to be walking down the street someday and see me on the otherside!! I know it happens with twins and all but that's natural. that's just my opinion. ~Iceprincess111 |

Well firstly... Dolly the sheep went kind of wrong, an the growth pattern grew up extremely fast. i think they need more research before they make it public. I think it s a good idea, but getting a clone would cost 3 million which is unnafordable. I don't think its wrong at all. Some people would think its morally wrong and against the bible or whatever. but it would be ethical to clone it for medical research, but not in the sense of mass production of drones. its fine with me if the experiments went successful ![]() |

I agree with Ice Princess. Besides, it could be too easy for someone to clone me then use my clone for illegal gain. He could destroy the clone then I would be in trouble for a crime I didn't commit. I would go to jail and the creator of my clone and the crime would go free. If people were basically good it wouldn't be a problem, there is just too much evil in the world to allow such a thing. ![]() |

there are quite a few problems with cloneing. People think its wrong cause of the bible & other reasons, costs alot of money,One main reson I think is, say you have a person cloned and a family is born with the clones jean, chemical warfare can be used to kill the whole family line. (these families could be presidents, celeberties and regular folk.) i personally have no problem with cloneing. i Think the whole process is cool. |
