Date: 11/18/2001 4:38:00 PM From Authorid: 42461 yep, its just accepted. People dont do anything about it because people are obsessed with famous people. this is just how it is and will always be. "hugs" |
Date: 11/18/2001 4:39:00 PM From Authorid: 16845 ding ding ding, yep they get preferential treatment....money and fame.....each symbolize power. |
Date: 11/18/2001 4:51:00 PM From Authorid: 45611 yep, its like if a famous person died in the world trade center, everyone would be focused on that one person. |
Date: 11/18/2001 4:52:00 PM From Authorid: 17014 I also think they get paid way too much. Us, the ppl who make the world go round, the little ppl in giant corporations should be the ones living comfy. |
Date: 11/18/2001 4:53:00 PM From Authorid: 22704 I wish they would, they get entirely too much money, if the stars got together they could wipe out world hunger! instead of buying gold ceilings that's worth over 200,000 each, or spending 600,000 to get FUFU (the family dog) their own house. |
Date: 11/18/2001 4:55:00 PM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 46335 FUFU! |
Date: 11/18/2001 4:55:00 PM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 46335 I no! its soooo not fair they make me made , why is it that if they have a specail talent they get millions , I mean i have a special talent, I can play the piano and you dont see me with a gold house you no |
Date: 11/18/2001 5:08:00 PM From Authorid: 20559 becuase most people look at movie stars as some kind of royalty and there is a lot of hero worship.... cops get treated differently in some towns too |

yeah i no... like just becuse they are "in charge" and give tickets |
Date: 11/18/2001 5:50:00 PM From Authorid: 39043 Yup I see it too. Do you also see that some of these movie stars who make millions of dollars, could give money to the Victims and Hero's of Sept. 11..or to other charities..but some don't! I just don't understand it..and i dunno y no one does anything about it. |
Date: 11/18/2001 7:34:00 PM From Authorid: 23731 they do get special treatment and thats so not fair. |

I know it, girl! I don't know why, just because everybody knows them & they are good at something, I mean, it's not like people that aren't famous are boring or anything. example: Lets say that Britney Spears is famous or her singing, right? Of course! THen, threre's this other girl who sings exactly like Britney...we'll call her Linda Johnson. But she isn't famous. I mean, picture them 2 in one of those fancy resturaunts where you have 2 make a reservation before you come. Britney is in the line in from of Linda & it's her tun. Britney forgets 2 make a reservation, but they let her in anyway, & LInda also forgets 2 make one, & just because everyone dosen't know her & she isn't famous, they kick her out! SOOO unfair! I'd kick Britney out as well! They onlt let Britney in because they know her & her talent. But what about Linda?? So, that's why I TOTALLY agree with you there! This HAS 2 stop! S*rrWolf |
Date: 11/18/2001 8:14:00 PM From Authorid: 46315 movie stars get treated like that because of their talent..that is not fair..BUT I DONT UNDERSTAND why pop stars and etc.. get so much attention..they have no talent.. nsync, brtiney, christina, etc.. eww. they have no talent.. they just look good thats it..(is that a talent..lol) and nsync are ugly i doint why they are treated liket hat!! |
Date: 11/18/2001 9:25:00 PM From Authorid: 46704 They do and its beyond unfair! Not much we can do though! |
Date: 11/19/2001 2:07:00 AM From Authorid: 17014 46315: They look good? Have you ever seen them without all the gunk on their faces? ugh I look better without all that gunk, but they need it!!! LOL |

What gets to me are the ones who have some sort reputation (whether it's been proven or not) such as child abuse, strange lifestyle, drug or alcohol abuse and yet, they apply to adopt a child and they immediately get a child. There are so many couples yearning to adopt a child and they wait for years before a child is found for them. Just because you're rich and famous, does that make you a good candidate for adoption? Apparently, in Tinseltown, it does. ChOcoBuNNy |
Date: 11/19/2001 11:49:00 AM From Authorid: 16069 Yes they do. Theres nothing we can do about it. Just live your life. |
Date: 11/20/2001 6:57:00 AM From Authorid: 14197 Here's why they get special treatment. If you had a clothing store and Julia Roberts came in, you would want to make sure she was treated prefectly so that she would hopefully come back again and again. If people find out that Julia roberts shops at this place then alot more people are going to want to shop at this place, which in turn equals to more money for you. Also, people feel like they're part of something important if they get to meet a movie star. ALSO, because alot of them are SO AMAZINGLY GOOD LOOKING!!!!whew, lol sorry! hope i helped |
Date: 11/20/2001 7:02:00 AM From Authorid: 25828 of course they do but it's to be expected. it's not just movies stars, it is the famous or the rich, and it will never change. they command power because they have the favor of large amounts of people, therefore large amounts of consumer power behind them |
