From someone who served on desert shield/storm. Yes,its about the oil,but also its about the position that we took on side of Israel! Yet i agree that we cannot sit and do nothing! Bin Laden has to be destroyed along with all of his simpatizers! The biggest mistake we ever made was going all the way to Bagdad and not killing Saddan! We are not going to make the same mistake again! Its time to kick some major butt!  |

Its interesting that all the nay sayers said that when yall went to Desert Storm that we were in for a long hard war, the Iraqis were experienced fighters and that they wouldnt give up. Yall sure proved them wrong....El TORO |

I think that this war is about both money and terrorism. We (UK and US) are in the middle east due to oil and our stance with isreal has not helped the situation at all. Sometimes both of our countries need to stop and think what effect our actions may have in the future American and Britain bot hhelp train some of these now terrorists when they were fighting against Russia looks like we did a good job doesn't it. I think that Osama and his group are just a bunch of religious nuts and the taliban are showing there true colors at last.  |

AMEN TORO!!!! I think it is sad the the people who are so quick to put down the efforts of the world in ridding terrorism are the very ones who have NO answers!!! No doubt they didnt know anyone, or lost anyone in the WTC or the Pentagon or the other plane that crashed. But I will tell you this, Our fore-fathers fought LONG and HARD, some lived, some died to KEEP all of you people free so you can drive your SUV's... and now just because you dont believe in "war"... you are willing to give it all up... *shakes head*... I have ONE more thing to say.. I love your posts and the wit you throw in... Keep writing!!!  |

Thanx Gail for the compliment...I actually did own a festiva because thats the only thing I could afford at the time but now thanx to the great country of ours HARD work has allowed me to buy a REAL car and not a shoe box with wheels..hehe........TORO |
