modern? maybe silver.. not the walls.. but maybe a cast iron bed or desk.. silver is in style and modern now. hmm.. if you do that, have the walls a dark blue, but make sure you have plenty of lamps.. silver floor lamps. OR.. you could have white walls with oak furniture and a dark green carpet and comforter.. the dark green goes good with a light colored wood  |

My bedroom is all earth tones and I love it. I have a lot of candles and baskets. On my walls I have a Van Gogh reprint, two matching flower prints in an off-white color and a picture collage with my kids pics in it. My computer desk is in my bedroom too, and on it, I have a hand carved stone elephant<~my favorite thing, a wooden box that I finished myself, a wire and wicker basket, and a three wick rectangle candle that sits in a copper stand. My bedroom is my favorite place because it has a lot of stuff in it that represents my personality. I hope you have a lot of fun decorating your room.  |

Hmm well I like the roman look- lots of draped fabric over windows, and decrative sonces with a sort of marble-esque walls. Also it would help it you have a friend who is a painter cuz this is what I want to do, paint the ceiling with dark blue and stars also I want it to be painted with run down pillars on my wall so it looks like and old roman temple. But that's my personal preference   |

Hi there Speed! Since, I'm enjoying my two-months holidays now, I'm taking the opportunity to re-design my room, so I've plenty of tips for you. If arts is appealing to you, maybe you can buy some art pieces and frame them up on walls. Make sure that it's a huge painting, it will radiate your whole room, trust me. Remember, the wall that you're going to hanging that frame on, paintit something dark eg. Red. It will contrast with the blending of colors from the piece of art with the wall. It will look gorgeous. If you want some really chic look, install two spot lights over the painting, it will be stunning. A dark-colored designed bed sheet will be perfect. If you need something to complement with the setting of your room, try hanging a piece of floral transulent drape from the ceiling to the floor, it is best position behind the head board of the bed. If you want more tips, feel free to message me  Glass vases with pebbles inside can also be accompanied if you like  |

Oh, I thought of some more things. Dark blue carpet with the walls painted like a biege or light tan. Then get some wall paper border with some male design to it like lighthouses or something. I seen some cool lighthouse design border in K-mart. It was masculine. Dark blue and biege colors in it. How am I doing so far? Do you still need me come over and help??? LOL Love, |
