Cold and dark like a midnight rain
Only thing that remains is pain
It's like a vortex bringing you down
So hard to smile, much eaiser to frown
No more sunshine, nothing but clouds
So hard to see rainbows inside this shroud
So easy to enter, so hard to get out
The vortex grabs you, you can't even shout
You felt it coming, but it was too late
It darkens your days and fills you with hate
A hate for your self and even your life
You see no more happiness, instead only strife
Each day's a struggle to climb out of bed
The minute you wake, darkness fills your head
It used to be so easy to find a little smile
Now it's like you've found the neverending mile
Now it's just darkness filled with nothing to say
Feeling so left out but always in the way
You battle this "creature" with no such luck
Giving a good fight, but it's just too much
You grow weak, your strength is drained
The "creature" thrives on bringing this pain
The "creature" has wond, yes one more time
