Maybe it isn't real to you because you are looking at it as something that you can see. Harry Potter Magic is not real or the stuff that is done on Charmed. Magic that most of us use though is very real. You pray right if something comes out of you praying that is magic. If someone wishes on a star and the wish comes true it is magic. When we do spells, we are not doing spells to change hair color or to make us fly. When we do spells we are basically praying. It is just sometimes a little more dramatic prayer then yours. I see magic everyday in the air, in animals, plants and humans. It is an energy in everything, and a frame of mind. You do experience magic, you just choose not to see it as that. Magic is word mainly meant to represent something pretend.

Why would you pray? For GOD to HAVE happen what it is you are praying for. Taking the credit for yourself as in "I've tried a few magic spells and they all worked out just fine" is the very ANTI-thesis of what GOD is ALL about. HE is THE ONLY ONE who can "make" anything happen. Come on here, let's HEAR about the "spells" that didn't turn out "just fine." God Bless.  |

I am saying that a prayer (a talk) with God in which a person ASKS for a particular petition can only be granted by God Himself. I can see that you want to call that "magic." The word "magic" as the rest of us are using it, and, as is the dictionary meaning of the word, is: sorcery. The connotation of that word is generally accepted as pertaining to a sorcerer, that being someone who THINKS that they have some sort of special power. What I am saying is there is NO PERSON who HAS any such power. Only God has that POWER. It is His incumbancy to allow a mere person to experience His Power, but that Power is not contained in anyone. I hope this clarifies what I meant by most of my comment. (I think the last sentence in my comment was self-explanatory.) God Bless. |

I agree just fine with you then, because spells are just a form of prayer a prayer to the goddess. I have had a spell that didn't work, that was the first and last time that I did one. What I meant was that if I was to do spells, that it would be no different then saying a prayer, other then the fact that I would be praying to a goddess and a god instead of your god.
