I think people just take things way to serious sometimes when they need to worry about serious matters.I think this is a kids movie and they should just chill. |

Actually, I wish they'd ban it because I'm tired of hearing about the stupid thing......it's like Titanic all over again. |

I don't think it will be banned this follows along the lines of them not wanting to publish the books either!! But, throughout history many books and probably some movies have been banned for many reasons that make no sense at all!! I think it is more people are afraid of what they may found out about themselves than anything. And, I personally don't feel that harry potter promotes Paganism in the least but, that is my opinion!! |

Needless to say, everyone sees things differently. I have seen the movie and I can understand why some people say it promotes paganism (even though I don't agree). It's all in the interpretation. I don't think that gives anyone the right to ban it. If they don't like it, they just shouldn't watch it. Why ruin it for everyone else? Having your own opinion is your right, but forcing it on others isn't. You bring up a good point and you're right, it is somewhat confusing. |

I bet they said something similar when "The Wizard of Oz" came out. Each parent should decide if they want to let their children see the movie or not. *** bad kitty *** |

Yep, if you don't want your kids to see it, don't take them. Just as you would do with ANY movie. Geez, they want to ban it? Actually, that doesn't really surprise me. |

I guess that most people don't feel that Paganism is a legitimate belief system. Whether it does or doesn't promote it, I think there are better things to worry about personally!~Chandira |

Yeah,(and thank you all who agree with me) but what I meant was WHY is it ok to promote Christianity, and not other's beliefs? That's what was confusing me. Not the whole Harry potter thing. |
