Alright, I know we've all heard the whole "never trust someone online if you don't know them in your personal life" things, right? Well, I made the mistake of trusting this guy online (man he was cute) anyway, he got peeved at me because I showed his picture to someone and became a real jerk. He started sending ghost mailings containing stuff no one really wants from the screen name he knew me on, so I contacted my ISP and told them what was going on, they changed my passwords but it didn't help, so I deleted that screen name on Friday at 11:30 a.m. central time, well my ISP tells me today that they cancelled my accounts because that screen name contained "violations" (basic spaming) that happened at 2:36 p.m. eastern on Friday. Needless to say, I was incredibly mad, since I had deleted the account 2 hours BEFORE this "violation" happened, but they're saying if it happens again, I will loose my internet access for 30 days.
Lesson learned: ignore all IM's from people you don't know and if you're not in a chat or something of that sort.
P.S. I did NOT give him my password or any other information of that sort You can join Unsolved Mysteries and post your own mysteries or interesting stories for the world to read and respond to Click hereScroll all the way down to read replies.Show all stories by Author: 45975 ( Click here )
