Hi Velvet *hugs* I remember years ago when I was in school, a girl that lived right down the road from me took her own life. It was very hard for me to accept her being gone. I was devistated for weeks. She had had a fight with her parents over a prom dress *they thought it was a frivilous thing to spend money on* She was so distraught that she walked up into the attic and hung herself. I could not believe the news when I heard it. She had no one to turn to, and I have always felt terrible that she did not feel that she could not talk with me *or other friends* How sad that she felt that alone. I can only hope that she rests in peace. *hugs*  |

That is awful what also is awful is that there usually are a few more who will copy cat.If you know anyone that is threatening suicide please tell someone.One year in this school in clear lake alot of kids killed themselves afterone student did.It set off a chain reaction i guess.It was in the 80's a friend of mine went there.It tore the whole school up over it.It is such a sad waste when something like that happens because the problems are temporary but the person is forever lost and no longer has hope once that is done.I will pray for her family also.  |

Hi sis, I'm still in shock since you told me this the other day. I remember a boy at my school..he was homeless and he had nowhere to go at night so he slept under a truck the next morning he died b/c the truck driver ran over him not knowing that there was a boy under the wheel asleep. I didn't know the boy but it was a very upsetting event for the entire school. Kia (RIP)  |
