I cannot say how we were created as there are to many holes in the evolution arguemnt and even more though the Bible. I dont have a soul as I dont believe in God what is a soul anyway, how can you define it, how can you say people have one or not. When you die you die thats it, your life is over. Hope I answered your questions. |

You assume a beginning to creation, the cycle of life is infinite. No need for a "god" to create it. After the physical body dies the spiritual essence continues its life, ("life", being a physical word, may be misleading on our perception of what follows). |

I don't believe in God per se. I do believe in a high power or knowledge if you will but I believe that it is just mainly like an energy or a life force - it is that which makes life possible. Everything that lives is a small part of it and it is a part of everything that lives. I suppose you can call it the universal conscious, a kind of collective where our souls blend. But I struggle everyday with the idea of a being creating us or whether there is no rhyme or reason and due to the nature of man to need to bring order to the chaos that we have fashioned an idea to give us that order. What I mean by that: and here is a rudimentary example: we see several small red blocks on the ground and one blue one. We automatically try to figure out why there is one blue one, what it's purpose is, is it special in someway, etc. However, it simply may have been that all the other blues were lost or broken or that there simply is no reason for it all - that's just how it is. But as human beings we fill a need to apply logic and order to all that we encounter. I do believe in souls - it the essence of a personality and I believe a small part of that universal consciousness. I think it has options when you die: to go back to that collective or to choose to return to earth again and another incarnation. This to me explains much of the deja vu and past life experiences that some people have. I know this will sound corny, and it does still to me, but I was kissing my fiance and ran my fingers through the back of his hair. A scene of another time long ago flashed instantly through my mind - I had no time to preconceive the image nor to guide it in anyway. It flashed in my mind with exacting detail and was gone before I could even analyze it but the image was burned into my memory. I can't really explain it other than to tell you it's like when they do a flashback in a movie - like a war movie - and for an instant you see a bomb hitting the ground and exploding - then they instantly go back to the guy and he's not there anymore but is an old man setting in his living room. That's the best analogy I have. I wasn't sure I really believe in reincarnation until I experience that. I know there are times it could be scientifically explained away but that would not take away from such a vidid and real experience for me. If you have any other questions please feel free to message me, I'll be happy to answer them for you. cheers, |
