Living forever would be hell for sure. to see everything that you know change and disappear, and everyone you love pass on. But to live a short life is tragic for your family too, so I would say that both are bad *Farleys* |

I'd rather live a short life... not only do i agree with everything that was said in the post but there are so many ups and downs in life.. you would have so many and you would be unhappy and wishing you would just die but you wouldn't be able to. Anoother thing is that you would have to work days after days to make money and if you don't have money you can't live but I guess you wouldn't have to worry abotu that... but that just makes you think.. when ppl say they are goign to live forever do they really mean it or do they just say it?? luv kandi ![]() |

Living forever would rule. Im totally mega-biased here, but who isn't. I long to see everything in creation, from the rainforest of the amazon, to the (making this up here) uranium towers of the third planet off of the triple solar system in the Fornax supercluster. You watch loved ones die in any life you live, but you live to love again and again. I could love so many people, I could see so many things, there is so much to do in this universe the idea of getting bored is UTTERLY absurd. With immortality, as well, comes the lack of any real responsibilities. If you couldn't die, you could try everything, free from the fear of death. BTW, it shouldn't matter, but I'm an athieist, so I don't actually think I'm GOING anywhere after this. My consciousness will simply die along with my body and I will live on as nothing more than a fond footnote in history. So that kills your arguement for me anyway. Oh well, in less than 100 years, we will possess the ability to prolong human life INDEFINTELY, so I'm prepared to give a full report on living forever relatively soon. ![]() |
