i read his book, i think he just likes to be a weird dude, because thats just what he wants to be. i know i wouldnt of wanted to be a groupie of his though. as far as his performance goes, its amazing. he is very talented, and i wish more people could see him for his talent. seen him in concert at ozzfest and he rocked the house!  |

Marilyn Manson(aka Brian Warner) in my opinion is one of the most intelligent performers out there today. I like his music, but I do think he has his immature moments and some of what he does is just for shock value to sell more albums. I guess it worked because I own all of them, haha. He is an amazing artist, despite all of the other stuff. I think he looked scariest in the movie "Jawbreaker" but I guess that could just be me!  |

Actually, I think he is quite an intelligent business man! I'm not familiar w/ his music much, and don't really care for what I have heard, just because it's not my kind of music. But he capitalized on a market that was just begging for it. After Alice Cooper, Ozzy Ozbourne, etc. the industry was open in that field and he came along an filled that gap. And made millions in the process  |

he rules! after all freedom of music, freedom of character. freedom of fans. if youi thjink about it, he is not evil, hes a music genious and those who think he should be banned should smell the grass that its not about the image but the music. and sometimes the image is the music lol but you get my point. he has same rights as many other artists  |

He's actually really "normal", as one could put it. He actually can be quite... boring....sometimes. My best friend dated the brother of his drummer for a while, so I spent a lot of time with the band. I can't even see him as Marilyn Manson... He's Brian to me.  |

I think he's a guy who isn't afraid to speak his mind. He dresses the way he does because he wants attention. He is actually VERY intelligent! *Shock rock* is just that...it's meant to shock people...but that doesn't mean that the message is wrong. While I don't agree with some of his tactics, I have listened to alot of his musics and he makes alot of really good points.  |
