My goodness Stile, I'm glad I didn't go to your school. I don't think I'd like being tied up. LOL Again when I was a senior, four of us girls carried a freshman boy into the girls bathroom. We each had an arm and leg. On the way he was begging teachers or students to help him out. Too bad for him cause everyone thought it was as amusing as we did. Remember this was a very small school only about 150 in my graduating class. |

This was a long time ago, But is the most funny ten and still is whne I think about it. It was 1955, My High school Norview, (Norfolk Va.) was in for the state championship football, against a very tough shool. Hampton, Va , The school was on on the north side of the James river. This river is 6 miles wide at this crossing .We only had ferry service across the mouth of the harbor. It was a tough game, It was not bad enough we won the game,Got the stste Championship one( we still suspect the Jr. varisty footballl team) let the air out of all the buses tires, I mean all the tires on all the buses. Most of us did not find out about this until Monday morning, Thejoke was the ferry stopped running at 11.00 and the buses had to go around to the James River Bridge to get home, this was quite a trip then, no interstates then, just a two lane back road. This students on the buses did not get home until 2.00 AM, We laughed and laughed. Our homeroom teacher did not think it was funny, Today it is a choice if you want to cross the James River by the Jamers River Bridge to get you furhter north and west, or go through the Hampton Roads Tunnell, Remember it was 46 years ago. We did things too. yardbird |

We rolled the principal's yard, and house. Then we cracked an egg, and poured it into the air conditioner vent in his car......CrystalBlue |
