what is the klingerman virus???.....I cannot find one single thing on what it is or what it does to the body at all anywhere.....every search engine I have tried just brings up the hoaxes....seems odd  |

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has recently received several inquiries concerning an e-mail message about people who have been infected with "Klingerman virus" after opening gift packages delivered to them in the mail. According to the e-mail message, a number of people became ill with a viral infection after handling a sponge contained in a package marked, "A gift for you from the Klingerman Foundation." The e-mail is a hoax. There is no "Klingerman virus," and the information in the e-mail notice is untrue. If you receive an e-mail message about "Klingerman virus," please do not forward it to others. Although the e-mail message is a hoax, if you are concerned about the contents of a package you receive in the mail, contact your local post office. It is a criminal offense to send potentially hazardous agents through the mail for the purpose of deliberately causing harm to human health. When such an incident occurs, the local emergency response system should be activated by dialing 911 in most communities; in communities without 911 systems, local law enforcement authorities should be notified. The local FBI field office and local and state public health authorities also should be notified. Release Me according to the one site that I looked at the virus doesn't even exist....its not like Anthrax a real thing.....someone made up the name Klingerman...period....there is no info anywhere that tells you what it does to teh body or how you get it or what form of "virus" it is....I would say that says it all... |

By the way some people I think have misunderstood the post. My Aunt does not have a computer nor has she been on one that I know about until she comes to my house and wants to see what new beanies are out. She got a flyer from a police officer who was standing on the corner as she was leaving work. This is serious and I think it takes a SICk individual to do something like this. As I said above......I think it is someone who got the IDEA from the hoax that was going around. Just my opinion. And for those who took what I said serious..........THANK YOU!!!!! I know my Aunt would not LIE. She wouldn't have called us and told us about it if it hadn't happened. Seeing that she lives in a completely different state. Just be careful!!!!!!! |

I agree...I know my Aunt would never lie. She DOES NOT HAVE A COMPUTER SO it's not like she got the email and was calling to warn us about it. THIS ACTUALLY HAPPENED WHERE SHE LIVES!!!!! And NO we are not trying to say that the KLINGERMAN virus is real but that someone may have gotten the idea from it!!!!!!! We know the email going around about that virus is a hoax. BUT THIS DID HAPPEN. It takes a truly sick person who would do this!!!!!! |
