Bigfoot Alive and Well?

I grew up in a small town in Florida called Belle Glade. It is right next to Lake Okeechobee and they grow sugar cane there. Our house had a large cane field behind it. When I was 7 years old and in the 2nd grade my parents closed in our garage to make a game room. The garage door was made of fiberglass and when it was removed my father put it in the back of the house by the cane field until it could be picked up and taken away. My Dad thought it was cute to tell me that Bigfoot lived in the cane field to scare me, and it did, it scared the crap out of me! I was 7 and of course I believed everything Daddy said. One night the next door neighbors hound dog "Jake" got out and ran across the old garage door making HUGE holes in it. They were staggered like large foot prints and my father saw his opening for a good practical joke. He came running into the house, out of breath, screaming "Bigfoot was in the backyard last night! Come look! I have his footprints!" Well of course I went straight to school and told everyone who would stop and listen that bigfoot was in my backyard. I got called into the principals office and promptly scolded for frightening all of the 2nd grade. I told the principal that "My Daddy told me he was there!" Then Daddy got called to principals office and HE GOT SCOLDED. I don't know if this was my embarassing moment or his? Peace and Love,The Dragon
