ok, with my game reviews, they will be broken into 2 parts: the actual game, which covers story, characters, graphics, sound, etc. is part one, while the technical aspects are covered in part two (bugs, patches, etc.). just wanted to get that straight with ya'll. sometimes, if one parts REAL long, ill try to make reading thes more conveininet, and do "part one (cont.)". ok, on to the review. Sanitarium is weird. straight up weird. this game will mess with ur head and ur mind a whole lot, and dont take that lightly. the story centers around a man who was in a car wreck and knocked out. he awakens in a strange sanitarium, where the inmates are beating their heads against the wall or lighting themselves on fire. the whole sequence here is VERY disturbing. the man has no memory of who he is or how he got there. the game is primarily puzzle-based, and the puzzles are generally very good, while some (like the pipe puzzle in the 3rd chapter) are the same boring retreads of all those stupid Myst-like gear and thingamajig puzzles.
