When my grandmother was younger she said she went in for an eye exam and the doctor would point to the chart and ask her what it was and she'd say the letter she thought it was. Well he'd keep pointing and she'd keep saying the letters. Finally the doctor stopped and said, "Okay Joyce, before you embarrass yourself any further those are numbers not letters." She found that so funny they all just laughed.
