WOW!!!!!! this band is awesome! their lead singer, Maynard James Keenan (some of u may know him... Tool, anyone?) insists this is not a side project, and im inclined to agree. this just has a different sound then tool. i cant explain it... they just do. Maynard is just awesome... he sounds like he means every word he says. this cd has the best song ever made on it too, and that is "Magdalena". i would pay the 15 bucks just for that song. it is such a, well, beautiful song. there, i said it. other amazing songs are: "The Hollow", "Judith", "Rose", "3 Libras", and "Orestes". the only song on this whole cd im a little disappointed with is "Thomas". that song is better than anything else i have, but it doesnt measure up to the others on this album. just buy this cd. if, for nothing else, get it for "Magdalena". its worth it, trust me. get it. that is all. -madhatter87

Date: 10/7/2001 1:50:00 PM  From Authorid: 34775    Madhatter, I had the pleasure of spending a few hours with Maynard after Tool played the second stage of Lollapolooza 93...he is a very intense and interesting person...one of the most so that I have ever met and let me tell you, A Perfect Circle, I think is a very personal part of him..in other words, I feel like this album is more "him" than anything that Tool does. 3 Libras is a wonderful song, one of my favorites ever..and The Hollow as well, along with Judith and Sleeping Beauty.
