When I Dreamed of Blood.
I never wanted to go back.Never.To the little room in the back of the house.To the doll room with the hauntingly beautiful dolls and there watchful eyes.Never did I dream of going back there,never.But when dad died last summer I felt a need to go back.To go into the room with dolls and to walk the long winding halls with red carpet.Where the pictures had eyes of there own. I see the house in the distance.My husband decided not to come.He never does and I truly dont blame him.The wind seems to be whispering,a saying of go away.But to my displeasure I walk up the wooden steps.My mother is at the top of the balcony.She is so pale and her hair has turned grey.Shes misses my father and when he died he took her soul with him.There is a doll sitting on the upper deck of the window seel.Shes starring at me with angry eyes.I shoul'nt have left them. Mother makes tea before bed and gos to her room.I want to rent a hotel but she wont let me,she says its unsuitable and I should'nt have to.She hated it when I left.When I went off to live my life with my husband. I make my way up the stairs and memories flash through my head.Blood.Rain.Screams.Glass Eyes.The bed is still comfy and welcoming,I quickly shower and change.All there eyes are on me.The dolls are beautiful and they flash there evil smile at me.They stare.I feel faint,and I am dream of blood.Blood on the walls ,on my hands,in my sister's hair,on there glass hands.Blood everywhere,especially in there eyes. When I awake I am not surprised to see my mother dead with blood on the white sheets.They all die that way.I walk back into my room and look in the mirrior.I have blood on my face and in my hair,spread like oil on my hands.I cry tears of blood.And my beautiful dolls still stare.With the blood on there hands and the shine of there hair.They always stare,but I wonder at what?
