I think they're good for very small children... My daughter grew out of them, but she adored them once. And I don't buy into anything about bad messages from the talking dolls, bad messages on the show, and certainly not the bit about them pushing sexual preferences... I don't find them bad at all. Little children don't have the ability to think the thoughts adults do.....so I doubt seriously they would recognize what you are pointing out. I have watched that show many, many times and have never got negative vibes from it at all. Jerry Falwell has hammered the tubbies too, but look where his big mouth landed him recently????  /  |

My daughter watched until she was about eighteen months, then got bored with them. I don't really care for them, and I'm glad my daughter grew out of them. I don't feel that they teach children to speak properly. They don't form their words correctly, as stated before they say tustard instead of custard. I'm sure there are more examples, but I can't remember anymore, it's been a long time.  |
