About 7 years ago I was given a little black dog, it was a cockapoo. Cute as a button. Resembled one too, it was only a puppy when I got her, her name was Lucy. I lived in my mother's house at the time. In our neighborhood I always saw this huge black cat, I BIG tomcat it was. I always saw it lying on the neighbors cars or thier front porch, I often saw it pass in and out of our yard. I think the oddest thing was that it was creepy. I know you're thinking, "Yeah, cats can do that." But let me tell you this cat took the cake. It was...just creepy. It would stand at our livingroom sliding glass window and stare in at me, just stare like it was going to talk or something. Of course it never did, but man! it sure felt wierd. Well, Lucy did not like this cat and this cat did not like Lucy, but the odd thing was the cat was not scared of her. It would look at her with it's eyes narrowed. I swear it looked evil. It would just stand there and stare, and Lucy would go crazy running around the living room looking for a place to hide. Finally I shooed it away. Well a few months later Lucy died of Parvo, I carried 10 blocks to the vet and she died 4 times on the way there. I would shake her and I was devastated when I had to let her die. Shortly after that the cat disappeared. I asked my neighbors sure that it belonged to them. None of them had even seen a black cat around their property. Let alone on thier vehicles or porchs. It was strange. I'm not usually that way about aniamals I don't have strange feelings about aniamals I do about people but not cats and dogs. Since then I've never even seen a black cat around my mothers' house. STrange? How it changed my life:Hasn't really.
