Yes,I know what you mean.One time a lady asked me how old I was and I told her 21 at the time and she told me that she thought I was 16 years old.Actually,that is more of a compliment.Wait until I get around my late 30's,then I will definitley take that as a compliment.I guess we don't see it as a compliment now,because we are young,but I am sure when we are older,we would like to hear how young we look.lol,I guess it goes both ways,too.Sometimes When a girl is like 13 years old,she can't wait until she turns 18,etc.  |

I was always told the same thing too...It made dating tough also, the guys always thought I was younger than what I was...But , now that I am 47 I kind of like it because people now seem to have a hard time beleiving that I am that old..Hehehe.  |

Ah, give the poor old lady a break. She didn't mean to offend you.I can think of much worse things a person can inadvertadly say- how about "Oh, when is your baby due?" and you aren't even pregnant. Or how about "And how are you today, young lady?" and you are a boy. Now that would be upsetting.  |

BethieMoo, when you're 80 I'm sure everybody looks 12. Just take it in stride. I'm 23 and people think I'm about 17 or 18 all the time. I wish I still the body I had when I was that age, but that's another tangent... Enjoy your youth and don't let one person's opinion get the best of you. When I was 16 people always though I looked older, now the think I look younger. Just one of life's little ironies... I'd just brush it off... cheers,  |

I look at kids that are graduating high school and they still look like little kids! I dont remember looking that young!!
