It all started with
a little crush,
I never imagined,
it would be anything more.

My feelings for him
grew and grew,
every time we talked,
every time he looked into my eyes.

I looked forward
to seeing him,
seeing him brightened my day,
made my heart smile.

Then 3 other girls,
ironically all at the same time,
got crushes on him,
he talked all about them to me.

I did not make a move,
I assumed he didn't like me.
I haven't liked someone this much,
for a while I had to hide my feelings.

Yesterday he asked a girl out,
asked me for my advice.

All I could do was lie,
all I could do was pretend
I was happy for him,
All I can do is lie...
