I stood up my dinner date (kind of)......*AMRAK*

I once was friends with an English lady who I worked with. We spent alot of time visiting as break buddies at work. We also helped each other out with various things off the job. On one occasion I helped Brenda move some furniture into her trailor.

To pay me back, Brenda arranged for us to meet at her favorite restaurant for dinner. She would pay the bill.

I arived nice and early and parked in the parking lot, and sat and waited. The time passed as I sat and patiently waited. It began to get past the time she had set for meeting me. No Brenda drove into the parking lot.

As the minutes dragged by I began to think maybe she had had car trouble, or had possibley forgotten our date. Then I decided to get out and look around. I went around the corner of the restaurant....and lo and behold...there was another section of the parking lot that I didn't know about...and there was Brenda's car. I entered the restaurant, and there sitting at a table, looking somewhat forelorn , sat Brenda.

I had some explaining to do.
