actually u dont know if its love at first site, for example, when i was 13 i saw lila for the first time, she liked me and vice versa, and at first i thought it was love at first site, but when 5 and a half months pass, we broke up, so i think its possible to have love at first sight, but its impossible to have to have remain that way... |

there are documented cases of love at first sight, & marriages of 50+ years that attest to it, so i know it does xist...but somehow i'm a bit more comfortable in not thinking of it in such a personal sense, as it might pertain to me as well at some point, & that thought has scared the hell out of me since a long time ago. cheers, -tugger  |

It happens so often, so its hard not to believe. It never happened to me, I hated my hubby the first time I laid eyes on him. Smart mouthed, short tempered,long haired brat! Well he was only 10years old. LOL Come to think of it, the only difference now is the hair, LOL. But I love him.  |

I think it's more like lust at first sight but you might end up liking that person's character etc. and there is love @ 1st sight! I agree that love doesn't usually happen in a second but it might still turn into love after some time. -- L.T. |

I say its lust at the first look which can later mature into love. Love is powerful, but so is lust and it is hard at first to learn the differance.  |

Love at first sight is USUALLY based on physical features and if you love the features you may not love the person themself as much, which to me is wrong. I don't think there is such a thing as LOVE... like true love... at first site. I am in love right now with a boy I met a little over a year a ago, but I didn't love him at first sight... actually I couldn't even tell what he looked like because he was so far away and I didn't have glasses on... but still after a few days I started to like him a real lot and we kept in touch after vacation and eventually fell in love. I think true love is just something that develops over time. You can't always judge a person by meeting them once... or seeing them once. -scooter9009  |
