Watching the crystal blue waters,
Extend against the azure sky,
I look far out to a distance,
To see exotic birds overhead fly.
Gazing into the sparkling waters,
Seems to beckon my yearning heart,
As I sit there on the white sands,
Reality soon departs.
The stillness of the blue waters,
Whisper songs of love to me,
That float gently along with the island breeze,
Setting my mind and spirit free.
Free to soar among the skies,
To be anything I choose to be,
Experiencing the depths of freedom,
To explore indefinitely.
At that moment I feel the warmth of your hand,
Gently leaning against my cheek,
Bringing me back to reality,
As you began to speak.
I smile as I relax in your arms,
The ultimate peace and tranquility,
A little piece of heaven,
No place I'd rather be.
