Within this world, heartaches abound
Troubled times for many too often found
Twenty-four hours a day does make
At least twelve of those you are awake
Time enough to accomplish a kind deed
For one with a sadden heart; or a person in need
It takes not a bounty of riches or pots of gold
To bring a smile upon a face or comfort one's soul
Often times, even the smallest act of kindness shown
Can raise the spirits of another feeling so alone
Look within your heart, reach out and find a way
To make a difference in someone's life each day
