I totally agree...but I find it hard to draw the line between the research they're doing to help cure diseases..and the point where it's too much. For instance..scientists believe that it is possible to take a strand of DNA from a newborn baby..and edit slightly..to form a clone with no head. The body would be supported by machines and kept in a large storage building with many others..and would stop growing with the original baby at peak adulthood. The point of all this being that should anything happen to that baby, it would have a spare body part waiting for it with no risk of regection from the rest of its body. A perfect match. I can see where this would come in handy...and these bodies would have no mind, no soul. But still, is that going a bit far??? ~CaseyGirlie ![]() |
