i am sure parents like uniforms...they dont have to pay as much for clothes..and also other kids who cant afford name brand clothes dont get made fun of..but yeah, i hate uniforms too...i only had to wear them one year, and that was in 8th grade  |

I think Uniforms in school is a good idea... it cuts down on the competition factors which some kids have a hard time handling, and it is much cheaper on the parents to 'clothe' their kids thoughout the school year..  |

i dont have to wear one, but i dont see the big idea. the point of school is to learn, not compete with others by buying "right" clothes. After all, you only have to wear them for a few hours a day. They make everyone an equal and are cost efficient. -telsha  |

I hated having uniforms, i go 2 a public school in Southern California and last year Gray Davis, the Govenor(SP) made the peeps where uniforms. Luckily I'm going 2 High School next year and won't have 2 wear uniforms again. Ofcourse i still have 2 wear P. E. clothes-ScoobyFreak  |

I dont wear uniforms, only my cheerleading uniform, hehe! I never want to wear school uniforms, I like to wear my own style and nothing else!! I am picky when it comes to what I wear!  |

I think uniforms in a school would be a good idea that way children won;t have as much pressure to have the expensive clothes , there is so much pressure today to fit in and its one less worry  cause they all are wearing the same thing and so image wouldn;t be an issue |

I dont like uniforms, and I've had to wear them once, but they do serve a good purpose. At least w/ uniforms the skool doesnt have a problem with improper dress.  |

I have to wear gym uniforms, and they suck. but at least you can change before you go off and make yourself smelly by exercising. lol  |
