You wake up one morning and something you once loved is now gone,
you can't eat, can't sleep, your up until dawn.
The one true thing in life to hold on too,
the one thing in life that you really knew.
your heart endlessly aching,
it's twitching, it's burning, it's bending and breaking.
You don't sleep because you can't,
the slightest breath burns your throat and becomes a pant.
Because of that one true thing,
something you once loved turned into a bitter sting.
This Rash that kept spreading now stopped at your heart,
I guess I was just a target now stuck with a dart.
My heart in flames, twitching and burning,
up at night tossing and turning.
My heart sits now collecting dust,
Throughout the years it began to rust....
