Okay...I hope this doesn't offend any Christians here, but how could we live without commiting sins?!?! It doesn't make any sense!!!! We commit sins every day, like little ones such as playing a violent video game, squishing a bug or eating meat!!!! If we never commited sins like those, we'd never be able to live!!!! If I offended you, pleeeeeeeaaaaaaaasse don't kill me for this. ~the unsolvedmystery

Date: 7/28/2001 9:59:00 AM  From Authorid: 3538    Hmm,I guess everyone has there own interpretation as to what a sin is.
Date: 7/28/2001 10:04:00 AM  From Authorid: 25390    Christians don't deny NOT living in sin. Most Christians do realize they live in sin every day. The point of Christianity is to know that God forgives those sins in which you commit.
Date: 7/28/2001 10:30:00 AM  From Authorid: 30421    I don't think christians expect you to live without sin..it's not possible..that was the whole point of Jesus dying on the cross for our sins {Angel}

Date: 7/28/2001 12:24:00 PM  From Authorid: 1055    Ok, you must realize that Christians do not tell people that they cannot live in sin. They simply say to try your hardest not to sin. If you do sin you are supposed to go to confession so that God can take that sin off of your soul.
Date: 7/28/2001 12:32:00 PM  From Authorid: 41651    I think you just need to recognize your sin and ask for forgiveness from your heart. Grandmas girl
Date: 7/28/2001 12:59:00 PM  From Authorid: 16671    You dont offend me, and your right, not ONE of us can go a day without comminting some sin that is listen in the old testament, under law. But that is the beauty of Jesus coming, for now we are not under law, in which no one could really have salvation, but we are Under Grace and if we cant get out flesh to be undercontrol, thank God we have a God that will forgive us as many times as we ask. Does this mean to sin?????? NO, it doesnt, but as you said, we all sin in some way or another and now instead of having to make animal sacrafices as in the old testament for our sins, we merely have to ask to be forgiven when we mess up. Personally I ask daily. Not that I dont try to keep the flesh in control but I know that I mess up as the spirit is always at war with my flesh. When your spirit is born again, saved, by accepting Jesus as Lord and savior, your *spirit* can *never* sin again, as its renewed and the spirit cant sin. But the flesh can and here lays the problem. I have problems with Christians that say they are *all that and a bag of crackers* NO one is all that, no one has that much control over there flesh, all we can do is strive each day to do the best we can.
Date: 7/28/2001 2:19:00 PM  From Authorid: 29806    Yeah, alot of christians realize they sin alot, that's why they waste alot of their time praying for forgiveness. -ID-
Date: 7/28/2001 8:37:00 PM  From Authorid: 3125    Hi..Only Jesus was totally perfect..He committed no sin whatsoever..We being totally human will commit sin..God made a way for those who commit sin,but who earnestly tries to be pleasing unto Him..A Christian tries to live a sin free life.. but..he will sin regardless..For example..Suppose a Christian was driving to work and he is running late and there is a traffic jam up ahead and he is later by the minute..Finally after 15 minutes, the traffic is clearing and he begins to speed in order to get to work..This man is sinning and when he realizes this,he will ask God to forgive him..God will forgive him.. God's love,grace and mercy covers this..God promises that the blood of His Son will cover this..The man now tries to remember this the next time he is late for work and stuck in traffic,so that he doesn't do the same sin again..Now..Many times,in our daily life,we sin by our thoughts..We may misjudge a person or we may say something to a loved one we wish we had not said..These things do happen.. When we do,we ask God to forgive us,with the intent of doing better..God says He will forgive us,when we repent and ask for forgiveness..We have this forgiveness through the blood of His Son..In the old law,we would have had to take the best of our flock to a priest,etc and the priest would have offered it unto God for the guilty party..That was the old way,the law of Moses..The new way is Christ's way..He is our priest and we take to Him a repentive heart and a deep desire to do better and He promises to forgive us..Now..God says that when we ask Him for forgiveness of our sins and we continually try to please Him,then He wipes all our sins away..To Him,we are white as snow..When one sins,God may chastise if necessary so that the sinner will learn a much needed lesson..Chastisments helps make one stronger and the more mature a person becomes in God's ways,the easier it is for him to walk more perfect before God.. Sincerely Rusure
Date: 7/29/2001 1:04:00 AM  From Authorid: 29806    How is speeding a sin? Does the Bible say somewhere that "Thou shalt not let thy mph needle go beyond the point of intended speed?" How rediculous! -ID-
Date: 7/29/2001 8:27:00 AM  From Authorid: 3125    Hi ID..God says we are to obey the laws of the land,if these laws do not go against God's own laws..We have posted speed limits..If we intentional break the posted speed limited we are in fact breaking God's law to obey the laws of the land..Sincerely Rusure
Date: 7/29/2001 5:52:00 PM  From Authorid: 40089    O but yes the Spirit can Sin , thats why there are Fallen Angels in chains today awaiting the Great White Throne, Judgement Day
Date: 7/31/2001 1:28:00 AM  From Authorid: 41296    Yes, we are all sinners. Some of us are saved and some aren't. Just because I'm saved doesn't mean I don't sin. I sin every day. But saved sinners are just that...saved. I am Protestant, not Catholic. I confessed my sins once, and I was saved for eternity. That doesn't mean I live like a hellion. I try to live my life as Jesus did, but of course I will never be sinless. But I will go to Heaven when I die.
