taking all the weights off i consider is part of the workout the warm up and cool down although it does seem a bit fanatical, dips done with added weights is a bodybuilding movement when adding extra weight using a belt and chain to suspend the weights, pull-overs work the pecs as well as the lats, start with flyes, then wide grip bench i think they refer to that as supersets or supersetting, (i never paid much attention to the jargon just that it works) it stress's (pre-exhausts) the pecs first as bench then works tricepts (the weaker muscle) and transfers more stess to the pecs. i don't mean to condtradict anybody but close grip bench is considered a tri (tricept) workout and yes squats is the king of all round mass building, ive done 2,000 squats in hour without weights just for fun. |

with dumbbells (sp?) you can raise them straight in front of you to shoulder length with arms straight and this gets the front of your shoulder and the top of your pec. butterfly's do it - so you need two dumbbells and something to lay on. |

and if it's 'cleavage' or that split you're wanting then butterfly's are the BEST. |

incline to target the top of the pecs, decline the lower portion, flatbench gets the middle |
