Only to then realize that it was not
What in the beginning it did portray
~~To believe in something you have
To see that which is evident before you
These are as they seem
This is knowing something is true
~~Or, is it?
To believe that everything is black and white
Is a misleading conception on our part in every way
Nothing is always as it seems
For everything, good or bad, will carry the shadows of gray
