You know how Al Gore was going with pollution of the air right? well what do you think if he would have became president and outlawed gas running cars and made solar powered ones. He probably couldn't do that but keep in mind this is a what if question. Would you agree or not. I think it is a bad idea!! If the sun goes in how would you get to work or pick your kids up from school??

Date: 7/23/2001 10:29:00 AM  From Authorid: 20104    Well the plan of solarpowered cars is it used light to power it and it stores power from the light. So if it is night time or a stormy day they will still run. I think its a great idea to have solar powered cars.
Date: 7/23/2001 10:41:00 AM  From Authorid: 40635    I tihk solar powered cars a good idea as far as for pollution reasons, but they are so expensive it would be hard to aford one.If we weent to have gas powered cars and couldnt get solar powered cars i reckon wed have to walk.People have done it for thousnads of years,I figure it wouldnt kill us,many of us(me included)could a use a good excercise anyhow.
Date: 7/23/2001 10:58:00 AM  From Authorid: 35510    That would be stupid,IMO,they could find something way better than that~cariosus
Date: 7/23/2001 11:54:00 AM  From Authorid: 5886    I really think Solar Powered/Rechargable Cars would be fairly successful. Another good idea would be to replace gas stations with solar charging stations... but it'd have to be really fast to charge up a car like that or i'd turn into a parking lot.
Date: 7/23/2001 11:59:00 AM  From Authorid: 40635    Rebel Soulhats kind of a good idea, you could put chargers in a parking lots at krocery stores and anywhere else you park.
Date: 7/23/2001 8:43:00 PM  From Authorid: 17525    No president can outlaw anything that Congress doesn't approve of. You can bet one thing tho. Solar power will NOT be seen in this administration as a wise move. It will take an environmentally administration (not a fanatical one) to begin to solve this dilema.
Date: 5/6/2005 7:19:00 PM  From Authorid: 51292    That sounds like a good idea, im all for it. LOL It would be tough to make the transition from gas to solar though..some people would still be using gas cause not everyone can afford to run out and buy new cars. I still think its a neat idea though, it sounds a lot better than gas!! 80)
