Yes, I do believe there are individuals who have that EXTRA sense, that something (whether you call it a 6th sense, ESP, or whatever) that can SENSE things that the eyes can't see, or perhaps are impending. It has happened to me many times, and others have shown this to me. Just the other day, I was visiting a friend in the hospital, and I went out to the nurses station to get some jello for my friend. There were several nurses and other medical personnel at the station, and while I was waiting on one of them to get the jello, a black nurse walked up to me, got very close, just a few inces from my face. She was smiling, very radiant and warm. She said she couldn't help it but she felt drawn to me, and told me some things about myself that she could see. There was an instant bonding, a feeling like I had always known her. She is from Africa, the Congo, and both of us , well, it was like we were transcending time, age, gender, and race, and were communicating in a surreal, soul-to-soul kind of thing. Was she an angel? Did she have psychic or ESP power?? Who knows?  |

I have to say that I too totally disagree with you. I have friends who are very gifted and even my own child has had premonitions on occassion that have come to pass just as he dreamed them. ESP is very real and if you allow your mind to be open to the wonders of the world, you'll never know what you may find within it. As Shakespeare once wrote There are nore things under the Heavens Horatio......maybe if you weren't so close-minded then you would see these things too. honest question. on what grounds do you say that? have you unsucessfully tried? or do you just believe that it isnt real on the grounds you havent seen it? or do you think it is too weird to be true? I as with many others on this site have proven that it is true to themselves & to others (But yes i do agree that tv psychics are liars) I personally have had premonitions without intending to & have encountered other psi related instances that have made me a beleiver. I don't have any "proof" that anyone does or has ever had ESP...therefor I don't "know." HOWEVER....if there is no such thing as "ESP" then how do we explain all the things that happen pointing to the explaination and realness of ESP? Just take a look at the members here, for example. Look at all the hundreds...or thousands of stories/experiences/events that have been shared and will be shared. What is the explaination for this? I have had similiar situations...I can't explain it....and the only answer that I can begin to fathom lies within the desriptions and understandings of ESP, psychic abilities, etc. What is your explanation for these VERY REAL events and experiences? |
