Ya, know what I think? I think that your friends are actually a little envious...not of your truck....but of your ability to take a risk to go for exactly what you want and not settle for something less. We all have fears....and what I have found is that those fears can freeze people into not following their dreams or doing things that they really want to do. It's frustrating. And....most people rationalize the "not doing anything to follow their dreams" by thinking that they are just being practical. Then along comes someone like you who does not allow those fears to interfere with your goals and your friends are not able to confront their own fears about these things and so what they do instead is project their fears onto you....telling you things like you are nuts. They really are just talking to themselves....rationalizing why they can't be like you. Don't pay too much attention to it. It's not you....it's them. They are afraid.  |
