Very Scary! Read With Caution!

Ok, I heard this from a friend. Her softball coach told her a couple of scary stories but this one really stuck.

I live on an indian reservation, and down the valley there is a museum that displays a lot of artifacts from the different tribes. One of the main things in the museum is the cachina doll. These dolls were used for alot of things and every tribe had them. In the museum they are placed all over. Every where you turn, there they are. It's really scary. But they are just dolls right, well, not at night. The museum is like, 2 1/2 blocks from the CRIT police dept. and there are just a few homes around. And one night, the closest home heard weird noises. The family thought that someone was breaking in so they called the police and they checked it out. Only one officer was assigned to this report and he was their toughest man. When he got there, he pulled out his gun and assumed the ready-for-anything- stance. He slowly crept up to the door and opened it with the key. What he saw made his blood turn cold. He saw the cachinas running around the floor and the bells on their bodies were ringing in the most chilling way. He called for someone to come and see this frightening sight and then ran back to his car. He was in total shock. He din't seem so tough after all. At night, the neighbors claim that they can still here bells ringing over in the museum.

How it changed my life:

Scared the crap outta me!

Date: 7/6/2001 11:13:00 PM  From Authorid: 29578    My Grandmother, was a very superstitious person; We only seen her about once a year, because of the many miles that seperated us.She had a thing about dolls, you couldn't leave one laying around,or mis-treat it.She claimed that a eninty would take the doll over if it wasn't loved.Of course, that might of been said so all of her grand children would keep thier stuff put up! But she claimed that her father had to "distroy" a doll that she had because a sprit had took it over!{My great-grandfather was a precher}This would of been in the 1800's. Don't think i would want to go into the museum DAY OR NIGHT!!!!! Hopeless

Date: 7/10/2001 10:13:00 AM  From Authorid: 39058    That is pretty creepy, I don't like dolls either. A friend of mine collects dolls, she has a room full of them. about a year ago she ordered one. When it finally got here, the eyes were missing. I'm sure an assembly line error, but it was still creepy.
