*l* Oh, we are so on the same page with this subject. I hate money, to be honest with you, SO many problems revolve around it, that would be so quickly eliminated if monitary value wasn't placed upon them. Who cares how much it costs to clean up the air and oceans and landfills, does the possession of a few sheets of paper outweigh the quality of life for the future? Unfortunately, it does. Just think about it. If everyone did thier job because it needed to be done, not because they needed the paycheque, there would still be food in the markets, cars on the streets, cloths in the stores, but the people making them wouldn't be worried, because they would still have access to the food in the markets, the cars on the streets, the clothes on the racks, etc... Do you follow what I'm saying? People do thier jobs without need of pay, because the things they would buy are free. The farmers won't stop farming, because they know the people who make tractors, which THEY need, need food, and so on. I know, it's a wierd concept, and good luck in getting it working, but it's something to think about. *l* Wow, didn't think you'd get a response like that, did you? :P  |

Silverhour, I was expecting some sort of long reply, practically all stories get some sort of reply like yours and that one is usually the one very appreciated. What you are essentially trying to portray is communism, communism that actually works, not the types that still have unbalanced dues. Communism would be good in theory. TheGrid, I know they used gold before, but rocks?, come on. Gail, well, I think a lot of people have the same opinion as silverhour and I. Anyway though, guess you can't stop the greedy people if they control the world, and thanks for the taggy compliment, LordOx made it. Ryphis, nice theory, it might be good if you put that in conspiracy theories.  |
