I need your opinion

We are building an addition to our house. Right now I'm trying to decide between carpet and hardwood floors. I think I'm leaning towards the hardwood floors. I'm just so sick of carpet its so hard to keep clean. Would it look weird to have hardwood floors in the bedrooms? These decisions are driving me nuts. What would you guys rather have? Dust Bunny

Date: 6/28/2001 5:30:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 28660    I didn't even think of that Shawn. The kids would probably break their necks. Oh well at least the floor would be clean lol. Just kidding.
Date: 6/28/2001 6:17:00 PM  From Authorid: 23336    i personally would go with hardwood floors. I like them a lot and if u decide you don't like them you can always throw down a oriental rug or some sort of cute rug to cover part or all of the room. Silverflame
Date: 6/28/2001 9:20:00 PM  From Authorid: 8941    I would rather have hardwood myself, and put rugs here and there. I'm sick of carpet too.
Date: 6/29/2001 1:20:00 PM  From Authorid: 37914    Go with hardwood floors. They are so much easier to keep clean. They cost a little more, but they last longer. You can change the look of the room by switching the rugs. I can't stand wall to wall carpet anymore. Blessings, Little Skylark
Date: 6/29/2001 2:24:00 PM  From Authorid: 8374    i would choose hardwood floors if i were you as well..they're easier to clean and i think it would look cool in the bedroom!!
Date: 7/10/2001 11:18:00 PM  From Authorid: 12411    It does not really matter what anyone else does. Your home is for you. Do it your way. If it turns out you don't like, live with it for awhile, then change it again. I had to do that with my kitchen wallpaper. Once it was up I didn't like it, but it will have to do for awhile. Lots of work to wallpaper. BJS
